In 1996, Mike Descozzi decided to buy a "Fixer Upper". He got a great buy on a large old home on the outskirts of town. He hired several contractors to do most of the renovations. Mike had been working as a flooring installer for 5 years so he did all of the floors himself.

He received so many compliments on his new home that he decided to open his own business. As a result, he opened Mikes Floor & Tile in 1998. Since then he has installed hundreds of floors and gotten many testimonials from satisfied customers.
